This purchase consists of one, 60-minute video session with me, Dan Feldman. The video call will be recorded, so you don't have to worry about taking notes!

Here are some things I can help you with during the call:

• Getting set up: Overwhelmed with getting started? Not sure what legal and financial stuff you need to set up before you start seeing clients? I've got you covered!
• Licensure: Confused about working with clients in different states and how that works with licensure? I'll show you what you need to know to ensure you're following licensure rules!
• Systems: Are you unsure what forms your clients need to fill out or how to create them? Or maybe you're unsure which software to use for taking notes, billing insurance, taking payments out-of-pocket, seeing clients virtually, etc. I can guide you to ensure that you have an organized system to fit these needs
• Credentialing for health insurance: Are you unsure of how to get started with credentialing (if you're looking to take insurance)? Are you overwhelmed by the process of submitting lots of applications and the paperwork involved? I can assist you in ensuring that you're contacting the right people to expedite the process.
• Coding: Not sure which ICD-10 and CPT dietitians can use to maximize reimbursement rates? Do you want to know how to bill insurance properly? I can teach you which dietitian services are covered by each insurance company and how to code for these services.
• Verifying benefits: Not sure how to verify patient benefits without wasting a lot of time? I'll show you how I do it to save you lots of headaches!
• Filing insurance claims: Not sure how to submit insurance claims? I'll show you how to do it — it's easy once you have a system in place.
• Getting paid: I can assist you when claims get rejected (this WILL happen) and help you determine whether or not you were appropriately paid by the insurance company.
• Marketing: Need help finding new patients? Not sure where to start with your marketing efforts? I can help you design a marketing strategy that WORKS
• Counseling skills: Are you having trouble working with clients effectively in your sessions? I'll show you how I set up my initial and follow-up sessions, and give practical recommendations as to how to work with clients effectively

Additional information about how the program works:

• You will provide 3-5 agenda items on the scheduling page on Kajabi for our call no less than 48 hours before our scheduled meeting. Failure to do so may result in the need to reschedule our appointment.
• Each call lasts up to 60 minutes. I will be available for you for the entire 60 minutes; however, If you choose to end the call before the full 60 minutes, no credit will be allotted for the remaining time. 
• I can review any relevant material (anything related to your private practice and/or accepting health insurance) on the call. However, I do not review or provide feedback via email.
• The goal Is to address everything you need help with on the call.
• If you are >10 minutes late, absent, or "no show," the meeting cannot be made up. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the appointment will be considered a "no show." I respect your time, and I ask that you do the same of mine.
• I have a 24 hour cancellation policy — if you cancel or reschedule a meeting within 24 hours of said meeting time, the meeting cannot be made up. There may be extenuating circumstances (e.g., family emergencies or a sudden illness), where the policy may be waived. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Again, I respect your time, and I ask that you do the same of mine.
